Ginbot 7 is a timely formed Party! I never believed for a second that Woyanie will hand over power with peaceful means. And they, Sebihat Nega and Meles, have told us that they will nevr hand over power to any one. They are not Ethiopians, rather they are the enemies of Ethiopia and Ethiopians. Look what they are doing right now, they are selling our land to our historic enemies. Quara, wher Thewodros, the symbol of unity was born, has been given to our enemy by woyanie. Metema, where Emperor Yohanes was beheaded by the Sudanese, is given to the Sudanese by his grand sons. Omedla, where Emperor Hailesilasie hoisted the Ethiopian flag for the first time aftre Facist Italy occupied Ethiopia for five years, has been given to the Sudan, by the sons of the colaborators.

I had a chance to watch live the ETN interview. I do not understand why reporters like Abebe Belew, ato MEshesha from Mebt radio and others are not there.
However I have seen the VOA and DW reporters. I like the bravado of Dr Berhanu. It seems he is angry about the weyanes. It seems his “wenne” is up to his nose.
Anyway I don’t think he will go no-where. After all a party based in the diaspora cannot deliver. All the buzz about the so called Ginbot movement is temporary and cosmetic.

This press release does not go too far. Berhanu must demand Milas Zenawi to resign instead of offer to work together ! It should call ethiopians atleast for a stay at home strike and start civil disobedience. The softer you are, the harder become weyanes. A rebel group can only be removed by a rebel force, not by democractic means!

There shouldn’t be an offer for Meles to change itself. A devil can not change its behavior to an angel. A request to resign in peace or by force should be warranted to Meles and gang. But Dr. Berehanu is not the sort of person to accomplish this couragous task. Dr. Berehanu alwasys wants to look tough in his speech. But he is not. He doesn’t have what it takes to be a rebel commander. In actuality, he is soft. Even to this day, he is offerring his old buddies Meles and Bereket a palm tree for peace so this movement called Gimbot 7 is a farce and fake excuse created to avoid any question that will be raised against him on why he is remaining in U.S and not go back to Ethiopia.
If they make it, i say good luck to them but from what i see the nature of Dr. Nega, it is a habit for him to change political organizations and alliances. that means he is not firm enough to be a leader.

The action and the issue is in Ethiopia but not in Washington DC. Dr. Nega had a remarkable chance to contribute but instead he get in to a silly mess and destroyed a strong movement.
From now on starting from the above press release his contribution will be limited to lip service and releasing statments. He is definately retreating from the real action. So why are you guys excited? It is with the usual sheepish Diaspora that Dr. Nega is playing with.
Soon another circus like party will begin: Ahhmm– Dr. Nega in LA, Dr. Nega in Seattle, Dr. Nega in London, Dr. Nega in SA —-bla,bla,bla - talk talk talk away from home. Do what it takes and let’s follow you, the problem with you guys is you haven’t been doing any thing relevant as a political party in so many years except criticizing, accusing, creating fear and mistrust amongest people and other political parties, may be your party members were spending too much time with woyanes in chaka. i kdon’t know how people compare EPRP and This organizations , please guys stop talking those losers for 36+ years with out nothing , all we know they been around two web page but that is means nothing to ethiopian people on other hand DR. Nega and his Collegus has been struggle in and out of the countrty and made some changes but now they decided to different dirction of struggle therefore please give them some times and see the way they run the show then you can crtize based on thier acchivement

Looks like this is let’s bash EPRP day, but they have no one else to blame except their own inept members. It has become an EPRP trade mark to shoot down any one who dares to bring salvation to Ethiopia. Ginbot7 was officially launched today and EPRP deadheads are already swarming the cyber space like flies trying to shoot down this organization before takeoff. I am not going to repeat the sad saga of EPRP since everyone knows it very well. The amazing new about EPRP is, it is still around and some even dare to call it a strong organization with means. Ethiopians in Ethiopia has completely forgotten this destructive organization and nobody knows it even exists. Today, EPRP exists solely in the imagination of its delusional members and nowhere else. Like Nuna said, Get over it EPRP!
Regarding Dr. Berhanu’s Ginbot7, I think it is too early to say anything. I share the skepticism of some of the commentators above; especially how can you recruit members and manage a clandestine organization from London and DC. The press conference yesterday, if nothing else was able to highlight the challenges the new organization will be facing, in bridging communications between its intercontinental activists and clandestine members at home. We all know Dr. Berhanu is very bright politician and a born conceptualist, there is no doubt in my mind about that. We all know he can talk the talk, now the million dollar question is, can he walk the walk? Dr. Berhanu, in 2006, still in prison wrote a brilliant and convincing book on peaceful struggle. He has never answered the question, what changed between 2006 and 2008 that he had to abandon the principles of peaceful struggle.
One thing that we really can’t lose sight of is this: there are still and organizations like UDJP people like Bertukan and Yaccob, in Ethiopia today, who are keeping the principles of peaceful struggle, facing Woyanie face to face in the open.
I am a bit confused with the Yared Tibebu bit, I was under the impression that he was with the KIC crowd, running their research and development (Tinatina Mirimir) section. Can’t blame him though, he is just abandoning a sinking ship, which in a way is scary.

Guys what about us, are we going to march behind them or just sitting and writing comment that will do nothing to bring a true democracy in ethiopia, guys let us sacrifice our life if neccessary or better if we sit quiet.
Let’s get things done ahead of time at least for our children, ethiopia is calling us and this is something that we waited for a long time, what we desperatly need is action and Andargachew and Dr are a brave man who can lead us to something better.
Today try to look where our sister and brother are in ethiopia while we are here doing a not less than begging job in one of the best country in this world just because of poor governance in our mother land.

Am strong supporter of Kinijit who Lv my country and am sad for what Dr Berhanu is doing to his national wide strong hold party splitting it’s members & supporters in the Diaspora is a big sabotage which is least expected form him.
We like it or not this is going to be favorable advantage for Woyane to strength and continue it’s power abuse or bloodshed and this make me sick.
Else U guys stop Ur character assassinating. I am one of the die-hard persons who want to see woyane out of the seen. But what Berhanu does is a big catastrophe for the struggle & the former kinijit, which was our only hope and am against it.

I always hear people saying Dr Berhan splitted Kinijit. I am really skeptic of this comment. Do the commentantors have a proof that Berhanu actually splitted kinijit? To be united party is subject to the strong commitment of party leaders and members to party principles and bylawys. As far as i understand Berhanu has the right to leave the party if he believes that party leaders voilet the party’s rules and regulations.

As Ethiopian that is one of our weak point were individuals like him makes us worship them as if their word is God’s one, to extent we can’t see our left and right while we allow them to ride us. Which is SAD!
