“I did not kill any one and I have been jailed in lice infested jail for the last three months”, that was Teddy Afro, Ethiopia’s pop star, today in front of TPLF’s court drama after his attorney call for the dismissal of the case due to forged document provided by the prosecutor was rejected by cadre/judge Lieul preparing the ground to send Teddy for long term jail at the end of this month.
Supporters of Teddy were crying and that is the least they can do. TPLF knows very well Ethiopians are not Somalis who can heat back. What a shame !! When are we going to say enough is enough and fight back ? No food OK !!, give our land OK !!, NO protest OK !!, beloved singers jailed, crying.
We have let down Teddy Afro because of fear. Let alone those in Ethiopia even the thousands who partied in D.C last week there was no anger and call for the immediate release of Teddy Afro and this is a coward generation who has no love for truth and justice.
It is sad we the diaspora abandoned Teddy Afro and allow TPLF to get a free ride to finish its drama unchallenged. It is shame to call oneself today an Ethiopian by abandoning Teddy who sang for Ethiopia more than any singer in TPLF’s Ethiopia.

I find it always interesting to read comments after a report or articles. It is because, indicate the way how the readers understood or received the messages. More or less one can take it as an indicator of the public opinion, though not scientific, on the issues at stake. However, some of the comments raised above, regarding a report on the Teddy Afro’s ordeal are explicitly abusive, and do not help the argument on both sides. It is incmbant upon you, the moderator, to keep up a certain minimum standard acceptable by most if not by all.
As to the case of Teddy Afro I am not interested to the detail of he evidence whether he has done it or not. What I know for sure is that Woyane has no moral qualm to through into prision anyone they think is a threat to their ethino-centric dictatorship and Teddy is not an exception. The solution is to replace Woyane by democratic system where the rule of law is guaranteed. Everyone of us is expected to conetribute one way or another to the struggle disposing Woyane and reinstate the national pride based on equality.

One of the confusing part is there is no detail about what happened and what he is charged with. Please look at these issues before lashing out with this article. Give the detail to what happened and what evidence has been brought against him and provide more information of the unfair judgment and evidence presented against him. People in Addis Ababa are responsible for providing this information to the diasporas and we are not getting any of it. We would like for him to get a fair judgment but let us see/read the facts first. Don’t rush into judgment Tedla Assfaw. You probably didn’t hear the demonstration held in DC but please look it up.

Weyannes are the one that need to be called donkeys. I have got a couple of reasons for that. First, they ralley behind evil Meles with out any question. Human beings by nature think and ask questions and have their own independent opinions. So far, I don’t see any Weyanne asking Meles where is he taking them. I see you all discussing the recurring problem- the continuous jailing of Teddy. We know he did not commit a crime. The judges, the Prosecutor, and the case is farce and highly orchestrated to give a legal setting. Meles is keen and outsmarting us. He knows how to kill. He has people like Dr. Fasil Nahoum who plan out the tactic of playing a legal frame and work to utilize it of how to kill and silence his enemies through kangaroo courts. This kind of fashion was used during the time of Henry VIII in England. It is an old tactic but new to our Country. Fasil Nahoum is a legal techician and knows about it. So ultimetly we can guess the verdict of the case. Either dismissal for want of sufficiency of evidence regarding the medical testimony of the deceased or sentenced to 15 years awaiting reprimand. That is the tactic and strategy from the Legal Advisors from the Menelik Palace. You will see the result. They want to silence Teddy. The reason being the Song he sang in defiance of Wayanne so called Tegadalay.
As for the rest of the discussion with Tewelde et al. [supra]. I sense this. Ethiopia is one this includes the territory of Eritrea as well. Both Meles and Isayas started and mapped out the controversy we are now reherssing some time in their stay at the Addis Ababa University. So let us stop hating each other. Think of better Tigrians like Seye and Gebru Asrat who smell Ethiopianess and some Eritrean Ethiopians. Look and ally with them.
Much can be said but I am cutting it here. So let me say this do not and never do and exercise the homework vested in us by Isayas and Meles. They are representatives of Mussoloni of Italy. Study the administration of Graziani in his 5 years in Ethiopia. Read. History is repeating itself.
As for Woyanne mongers let me say this. We are living witnesses and we know your inception and where you are going. Time is the essence. Think now and what you did to cede land to the Sudan and support for the break away of Eritrea etc. These and including the Algiers Agreement mark History. You will be judged and every society will have no mercy on TPLF when you face the other side of the coin. Time is the essence and the Hero and not Individuals. Even with internal war with the Derg it is the non-Tigrean people that killed the Derg and not you as Woyannes. But is you who erected a Liberty Statue in Mekele in rememberance of victory of internal war fought among you brothers. Much can be said but let me cut it short
Remember always this. We are over 80 million now. And Woyanne is a spoon of water in an Ocean. Hatefulness can kill TPLF but we need to stop it for the benefit and to exclude the Tigrean population in general from such mass hatefulnes that TPLF WANTED. TPLF wants to exclude and inhabit in order to administer the Tigrean population and destroy our Unity like Moussoni. Let us avoid our hateful speech and mindedness and love the Tigrean and Eritrean brothers. Seye is a vivd example. That is the bottom line.
